Curved Macro Fiber

This is a coarse fiber which is made from Polypropylene with a very special processing. This is mainly used in the concrete, and has the characteristics of adding high degree of fracture strength in the concrete and easy dispersion. It greatly improves the crack resistance of concrete, improves the tensile strength, elongation (Flexural Strength), and prolongs the service life of concrete.

This is Natural White in Colour. The Filament is waved, embossed and curved. Length can be between 20-60mm as required and has a Tensile Strength of above 500 Mpa.

Characteristics and Functions
  • It can be highly bended; has very high tensile strength, so can be used for culverts support, mountain slope supports, etc. protection engineering.
  • High Crack Resistance, so it can be used for impervious basement, reservoir, low pressure pipes and other projects.
  • High Resistance to impact performance, so it can be used in the spillway of water resources and hydropower Engineering, such as brake bottom high speed water area.
  • This is made from Synthetic Resin and has characteristics of Steel Fiber, so it can be used in concrete engineering, seawater corrosive environment.
  • High Tensile, fracture toughness and fatigue resistance, so it can be used for under dynamic loading, such as roads, railways, bridges, etc.

Macro Fiber - Plain

This is also a Macro Fiber but the surface is not as coarse as the previous one. But the three dimensional surface of the fiber is uniformly embossed. This is another Polypropylene product and specially designed for shotcrete concrete application. This is developed primarily for the use a post first crack reinforcement in concrete and provides plastic-shrinkage reinforcement. This is tested at multiple dosage levels for commercial and industrial applications.

This is Natural in Colour. The Filament is embossed and straight. Length can be between 50mm or above as required and has a Tensile Strength of above 500 Mpa.

Characteristics and Functions
  • It can be highly bended; has very high tensile strength, and very good workability so can be used for shotcrete, channel and tunnel lining, mining, slope stabilization, structural rehabilitation.
  • Provides post first-crack residual strength to concrete.
  • Provides temperature-shrinkage reinforcement.
  • Increases concrete durability – including impact and abrasion resistance and fatigue strength.
  • Reduces plastic shrinkage and settlement cracking.
  • Reduces water migration, bleed water and permeability of concrete.
  • Provides uniformly distributed reinforcement throughout concrete, not just in one plane as with traditional steel reinforcement.
  • Less Shotcrete is required because there is no shoot-around associated with it as is associated with traditional steel reinforcement.
  • This is a cost-effective alternative to traditional steel reinforcement due to reduced installation and labor costs.

PP Twisted Bundle Fiber

This also uses Polypropylene as its raw material, produced by a very special process to create rough surface. The process is called Special parallel thread extruding and twisting process. It has high breaking strength, better dispersion and strong combining ability to provide very strong reinforcement capability. This can be used widely in place of steel fiber to reinforce the cement concrete and crack-resistance.

This is either white in colour or in combination of black/white coloured fiber. This is very suitable for :

  • Projects like Concrete Road, bridge, airport road and factory floor. This provides very high cracking resistance.
  • This can also be used in the walls of tunnels, mines, roofs and reservoir projects with special construction.
  • Can be used for River Courses and Dams, etc.
  • Can be used in Military Defense Woks, dock, banks and pie4s, etc.

Being propylene, this also has a density of 0.91 Gm/C3, Elastic module of above 5000 MPa, length 54mm. This is available in bundle-like twisted fiber. Its tensile ratio is above 15%, break strength above 560 MPa and is strongly resistant to Acid and Alkali exposure.


Micro Silica

Microsilica or Silica Fume is an excellent admixture for concrete as it leads to better engineering properties. It reduces thermal cracking, improves durability, and increases strength. Silica fume concrete has a number of construction applications.

Silica Fume conforming to a standard approved by the Engineer may be used as an admixture in the proportion of 3 to 10% of Cement. Silica Fume shall comply with the requirements given in IS:15388-2003, IS:456-2000, IRC:SP:76 and IRC:44-2008.


The Undensified Microsilica imported by MKS is a by-product of the production of ferrosilicon alloys or silicon metal, with SiO2 content range from 85% to 96%, bulk density around 300 — 400kg/m3, and light grey colour. They are classified as Grade 85U, Grade 92U, Grade 94U and Grade 96U. It’s collected, and packed from ferrosilicon or silicon metal factories directly, the automatic and integrated production process guarantees the consistent quality.
